Dave Devenot

Dave Devenot retired from a long career in Human Resource and Labor relations consulting and is now able to focus exclusively on his art, which previously had been his second life and passion.

A graduate of the University of Hawaii, Dave returned from the Bay Area in 1970 to work and live in Hawaii. Although his first love is watercolor, Dave enjoys a variety of mediums including photography, print making, pastel and other water based mediums.
His realistic and abstract paintings and prints reflect his personal perspective of cityscapes collected from his travels both near and far. Dave enjoys capturing the colors and vibrancy of life abounding in shops, plazas, cafe's, parks and buildings in such varied locations as Honolulu's Chinatown, Paris, Italy, Germany and other locations.

Dave is a signature artist in the Hawaii Watercolor society. His artwork has been exhibited and has won awards in local galleries and in numerous juried shows including the Hawaii Watercolor Society, Windward Artist Guild, Association of Hawaii Artists, Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce and the Hawaii Pastel Society.
